Our Story
J&C Auctions has been going strong for almost 20 years. In 2006, J.B. Dimick and Curt Crighton started J&C along with Stacy Dimick and Lisa Crighton. Curt handled setup and J.B. acquired equipment. Together with their partners, they ran the business until Curt retired in 2013, when J.B. and Stacy took over.
J.B.’s auctioneering career began long before J&C Auctions. At just 10 years old, he worked machine sales with Eagle Point auctioneer Ron Anderson. By 13, he was learning from Tom Caldwell, a local cattle and Thoroughbred breeder who later became Keeneland Kentucky’s director of auctions. Through high school and college, J.B. refined his skills at livestock sale yards, farm auctions, and high-line car auctions in California.
Stacy grew up on a ranch in Colorado, attending farm and equipment auctions with her father and grandfather. She later built a career in title and escrow before bringing her financial expertise to J&C Auctions, managing auction operations, data collection, and invoicing.
J&C partnered with AuctionTime in 2020, and what started as small local farm sales has grown into an online platform that reaches people around the world. Even with expansion, J.B. and Stacy remain actively hands-on with the business and work alongside their crew to bring each auction to life. The Spring Auction includes over a thousand items, with equipment ranging from farming, ranching and construction equipment, to trucks, trailers and more.
J.B. and Stacy are dedicated to delivering the same level of excellence to their local community in Southern Oregon and Northern California, securing top bids for consignors. If you reach out with a question, you are likely to speak to them directly. This is one of the personal touches that makes J&C exemplary in the field. Whether you are a buyer, seller or employee at J&C, they strive to make the experience a win for everyone.
